It is a part of making stories W+K Tokyo Lab talked about their works in a seminar the other day. “STREET REVOLUTION / UC a.k.a. DJ UPPERCUT” is the 2nd album by the big artist, UC, whom this label is deeply supporting. The album is featuring various rappers, so it is pretty high quality I feel. It has already been on sale for around an year, you may know, but, it is very timely for me to push this article 'cause I listen to it over and over again these days in particular. The art works of its package are also absolutely sick.

My first purchase in this year 2007 is this one, BOSE / companion 2 series Ⅱ. I had used one by sony, but I couldn't help controlling my mind to get it when I saw and experienced that pair of speaker by BOSE. It is so reasonable price that it is worth buying.

That legend was held in July 2004 in California. The documentary movie "Rock The Bells 2004" is a film which shows you the backstage of the legend event "Rock The Bells 2004". That is an incredible project that a producer of this event barely makes all of the legend group, Wu-Tang Clan, members, including the late Ol' Dirty Bastard, stand on the same stage at the same time. That documentary movie which captured the legend is gonna be screened in REFEST 2006 this year. It must be unprecedented great Hip Hop documentary movie.

Another related event "Rock The Bells - World Tour 2006" is gonna be held in the U.S. Various artists who have been supported Hip Hop music since the golden-era of Hip Hop will make performances there. I hope these events will go on taking place in future.

Second single "Ice Box" from Omarion's new album 21 will be released on Dec.26th this year. Omarion, one of my favorite R&B artists, was a member of B2K, you know. Anyway, "Ice Box" is absolutely great, I think.

Microsoft brings a new digital audio device "Zune" on Nov.14th, which will be in rivalry with iPod(Apple), into the digital music industry almost monopolized by Apple in a respect of delivering music on line. At the same time, they also release a new on-line music store "Zune Marketplace", which is in rivalry with iTune Music Store(Apple). How will their share be changed in the future?

I often see various performances in my work, but this is a little different one I have seen. So some of you might watch this, however I wanna show you the marvelous performance I was so impressed the other day. It is the great performance by Justin Timberlake in MTV Video Music Award 2006. Another interesting point is that Timbaland, producer and featuring artist of the songs in this performance, seems to work hard in unusual suit for him.

I went to watch a game of CFL, which is the professional football league called Canadian Football League, at Rogers Centre (Toronto) last weekend. I have known about american football called NFL, which is one of the big 3 sport entertainments in the U.S.. However, to be honest, I had never heard the exsitence of CFL till recently.
Incidentally, the matching of the game was Argonauts against Tiger Cats.
先週末にロジャース・センター（トロント）にて行われたプロ・フットボールリーグ「CFL (Canadian Football League)」の試合を観戦しに行った。アメリカ３大スポーツの１つであるアメフト「NFL (National Football League)」のコトは知っていたものの、最近までカナダにアメフトのリーグがあること自体、全く知らなかった。とにかく初めてアメフトを生で見ることができたことは、自分にとって非常に有意義な経験だった。
ちなみに試合の組み合わせは「Argonauts v.s. Tiger Cats」でした。
Anyway, that experience I could watch the live game of american football directly at first time must be very meaningful for me.
In addition that, to my surprise, the live performance by the veteran HipHop group "Swollen Members" was held in half time, which must be a part of sales promotion of their brand new album "Black Magic". Even so regrattably, that performance seemed to be a kind of figurative aspects showing HipHop is not popular at all in Toronto.
It is not too much to say iTune Music Store in Japan is absolutely dumb for japanese people who prefer foreign tunes to domestic ones. In fact, I can't deny I am one of them. For this reason, I purchased enough cards available for US iTune Music Store in Apple Store (Fifth Avenue) for my life in Japan in the near future.

The brand new album of Gym Class Heroes 'as cluel as school children' is finally now on sale today. To be honest, I had not known about them before coming to Toronto, however recently they have been very very good to me. This album is the second for them, but the first 'The Papercut Chronicles' is actually also cool. That is why I recommend you check it.
