To celebrate the newly opened Jordan flagship store in Shanghai, China on June 1st, Nike released the AJ1 XQ exclusively in China with limited release of 240 pairs. XQ stands for “Xi Qing” in Chinese, which means “Happiness and Celebration”. Its design is absolutely bad for footwear nuts !!

今月6/1のジョーダン・フラッグシップ上海店オープンを記念してリリースされた「AJ1 XQ」。中国国内のみの販売モデルで240足限定生産。XQとは中国語の「Xi Qing」の略で「幸福とお祝い」を意味するとのこと。かなり通好みなデザインに仕上がっている感じ。

iPhone by Apple Computer is gonna be released in June, 2007 in the U.S., but in Asia, it's said to be in 2008. It includes iPod system and has 2 line-ups, 8GB & 4GB models.

アップルから「iPhone」が発表され、アメリカ国内では2006年6月にも発売される模様。アジアでの発売は2008年のようだ。「iPod」機能を搭載し、8GBと4GBの2種類になる見通し。

My first purchase in this year 2007 is this one, BOSE / companion 2 series Ⅱ. I had used one by sony, but I couldn't help controlling my mind to get it when I saw and experienced that pair of speaker by BOSE. It is so reasonable price that it is worth buying.

今年最初に買ったモノ、「BOSE / companion 2 series Ⅱ」。以前まではSONYのスピーカーを使っていたのだが、ひょんなことからBOSEのそれを体感してしまったのが最後、購入せずにはいられずその場で購入。それに加え、価格がとてもお手頃だったので、非常に買いな気が…。

I'm not sure the reason my cell phone (NTT Docomo; P900i)'s battery deadly goes down is that I hadn't turned the power on during my stay abroad. Because of that, I finally changed it to a new one, which is first time in last three years. Now people in Japan are eager to get a new series, 903 series, but SH902is, one of previous line-ups, attracted me so much, so I took one. A few days ago, I belatedly made my debut on 902 series.

日本にいない間に携帯電話（ドコモ：P900i）の電源を入れていなかったせいか、電池の消耗が極度に激しくなった為、携帯電話を買い替えた（約３年ぶり）。世間は903シリーズで賑わっているようだが、シンプルなデザイン（SH902is）に惹かれたということもあり、遅ればせながら今ごろ902シリーズ・デビュー。

It is not too much to say iTune Music Store in Japan is absolutely dumb for japanese people who prefer foreign tunes to domestic ones. In fact, I can't deny I am one of them. For this reason, I purchased enough cards available for US iTune Music Store in Apple Store (Fifth Avenue) for my life in Japan in the near future.

何かと海外の音楽を好む日本人にとっては使えない日本版「iTune Music Store」。自分もその一人であったことは否定できない。そういった経緯から、今後日本でも利用できるようにと、ニューヨークのFifth Avenue店にてUS版「iTune Music Card」を買いだめしてみた。

97% of people in Quebec City are french canadians, which means almost of the people here speak not English but French. Quebec City consists of 3 parts of area, the area surrounded by walls above the cliff, the old town, Vieux Quebec/Old Quebec, located below the cliff, and the new city located in west side of the old town.

ケベック・シティは人口の９７％をフランス系カナダ人で構成されている。つまり、公用語がフランス語であり、ほとんど英語が通じないという程である。ケベック・シティは大きく３つのエリアから構成され、「城壁に囲まれた崖上地区」、「崖下に位置する旧市街Vieux Quebec/Old Quebec」、そしてその西に姿を構える「近代的な新市街」から成る。

Place Royale in Old Quebec. It is said that this very place is the birthplace of Quebec.

旧市街にあるロワイヤル広場。ケベック・シティ発祥の地としてその名が刻まれている。

One of the landmarks of Toronto is CN TOWER which is also known as the highest building in the world. On a clear day, you can see not only all parts of Toronto city but also even NY state in the U.S. from here. It is located in the south part of downtown of Toronto, facing to habourfront.

トロントのランドマークであるCN TOWERは世界最高層ビルディングとして世界にその名を轟かせている。澄んだ晴れた日にはトロント市内はもちろんのこと、NY州までもが見える程である。立地場所はトロントのダウンタウン南端にあり、ハーバーフロントに面している。

These days, to be exact, one month ago, I got a bicycle which made my outdoor life here in Toronto very healthful and meaningful. This pic. was shot on the shore of Ontario Lake.

One of the most important transportations for people here is Bus. It runs around the clock. Almost all the shops, night clubs & pub...etc, are closed at 2AM or 3AM, so that it is so hard for night people to come home without bus. In addition to that, only women can use the Request Stop System that bus drives women around their home. Great system!

トロントのダウンタウン市内、及び近郊で最も主要とされる交通機関の一つがバス。日中はもちろんのこと、何と深夜までと２４時間営業を行っている。というのも、ほとんどのお店（パブ、ナイトクラブ等）が2:00AM、3:00AMで閉店してしまうので、これを利用しない限り帰宅するのは至難の技である。それに加え、女性限定ではあるものの、行き先を指定すれば近所まで送って行ってくれるというシステムがあるのも嬉しい。

Everybody, who rides on their mountain bikes, never fail to use this bike-stop. If you keep away without locking your bike with the stop, you must have your bike stolen. It is more dangerous here than that in Tokyo.

誰もがマウンテンバイクのこちらでは、必ずこの自転車止めを使用する。ノーロックで自転車から目を離すことは、それを失うことを意味する、といっても過言ではない。東京以上に危険である。

Like this, but it is not enough to fix just tyre. Fix the body and tyre with your lock.

最悪こんなコトにも…。タイヤだけでは不安なのでボディもロックを。
