I went to watch a game of CFL, which is the professional football league called Canadian Football League, at Rogers Centre (Toronto) last weekend. I have known about american football called NFL, which is one of the big 3 sport entertainments in the U.S.. However, to be honest, I had never heard the exsitence of CFL till recently. Incidentally, the matching of the game was Argonauts against Tiger Cats.

先週末にロジャース・センター（トロント）にて行われたプロ・フットボールリーグ「CFL (Canadian Football League)」の試合を観戦しに行った。アメリカ３大スポーツの１つであるアメフト「NFL (National Football League)」のコトは知っていたものの、最近までカナダにアメフトのリーグがあること自体、全く知らなかった。とにかく初めてアメフトを生で見ることができたことは、自分にとって非常に有意義な経験だった。 ちなみに試合の組み合わせは「Argonauts v.s. Tiger Cats」でした。

Anyway, that experience I could watch the live game of american football directly at first time must be very meaningful for me. In addition that, to my surprise, the live performance by the veteran HipHop group "Swollen Members" was held in half time, which must be a part of sales promotion of their brand new album "Black Magic". Even so regrattably, that performance seemed to be a kind of figurative aspects showing HipHop is not popular at all in Toronto.

そしてビックリしたのが何とベテランHipHopグループ「Swollen Members」のライブがハーフタイムに行われたコト。最近リリースしたアルバム「Black Magic」のプロモーション活動の一環だと思われる。それにしても、残念な事にトロントでのHipHop熱が全くと言っていい程感じられないコトを象徴するかの様なライブだった…。

It is not too much to say iTune Music Store in Japan is absolutely dumb for japanese people who prefer foreign tunes to domestic ones. In fact, I can't deny I am one of them. For this reason, I purchased enough cards available for US iTune Music Store in Apple Store (Fifth Avenue) for my life in Japan in the near future.

何かと海外の音楽を好む日本人にとっては使えない日本版「iTune Music Store」。自分もその一人であったことは否定できない。そういった経緯から、今後日本でも利用できるようにと、ニューヨークのFifth Avenue店にてUS版「iTune Music Card」を買いだめしてみた。
