You can see a design school named "The Ontario College of Art & Design" on a street across the Queen St. There are many institutions associated with the college on the street, so you will see "Design" is a part of their life in Toronto.
The Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD) is Canada’s largest university for art and design, specializing in creativity and innovation. Established in 1876, the university has more depth and breadth in visual arts and design programs than any school of its kind in Canada. Works of OCAD graduates continues to enrich our country’s culture and add value to the economy and everyday lives of Canadians.

クイーン・ストリートを横切る通りにあるデザインスクール「The Ontario College of Art & Design」。通りには、この学校に関連した施設が多数あり、デザインというカルチャーが生活の一部と化していることがわかる。
「Ontario College of Art & Design」は1876年に設立された、カナダ最大のアート、デザインを専攻とした大学であり、カナダにおける同様の教育機関に比べ、ビジュアル・アート、デザインプログラムをより深く学ぶことが出来る。卒業生達の作品はカナダの文化を豊かにし、さらにはカナダの経済、そして毎日の生活にまで価値を与えているようである。

Baseball is much more popular in Toronto than I had ever thought. I saw many many people dancing, shouting, enjoying and exciting around the Rogers Center which is the home ground of Toronto Blue Jays in spite of the weekday. In any case, When I come to the U.S, it reminds me of what the ENTERTAINMENT is.

予想に反して野球人気の高いトロント。ロジャーセンターの周囲は平日だというのに試合前から非常に熱い熱気を帯びていた。海外に来るといつもそうなのだが、「エンターテインメント」といったジャンルに関しては、見習うべき点が多々あることに気づかされる。

There are various designer's brand shops along the Queen St. And in the back side of the street, walls of buildings are decorated with graffiti art. Walls are working as advertising stuff in Canada.
